ugly news from the morning ::

been very busy recently, so busy that i didn't even buy my biz times to update myself, read my favourite National Brochure. had been making calls all day(s) long, rushing here and there (and last sunday had been the worst), been through a few ironical make-you-grow-up experiences.

now, i know one of the ways to xiao li cang dao - that is, to hide a dagger in midst of a smile.

the story goes like this...

yesterday, agent D, called me up in regards to this unit he'd brought his client to see on sunday. he told me, his client was interested to make an offer and asked me what's the reserved price my client would let go. being young and innocent, (haha, really, in this respect that is) i told him the price the owner wanted to let go, plus another $10k. subsequently, boss called to say this agent D went to approach the owner himself to try and undercut us.

eeks!! hope he develops a bad body ordour on his corpus body. to think he was so friend-ly and nice to me whilst trying to dig out information from me. so smelly!!!!! geesh, it IS a lesson to be learnt, cos actually all the while, throughout my conversation with him, he did hint very strongly that it is a cut throat industry and even friends do undercut each other. he's a 9,10,11 district agent by the way, so be ware of piggish looking suspicious characters unleashing their stench unethically.

okay. shall learn to be smarter and talk less.

but on the other hand, i didn't really want to be the meanie around. cos its so tiring to be fighting a war in front and trying to cover your own backside, you get what i mean? and since we don't have exclusive to that unit, we're in a vulnerable position, unless well, we have loads and loads of cash stashed away somewhere to advertise.

hmm..

we can work around it. and we will work around it.
