bits and pieces of the past ::
after baptism service was bp dinner. yes, i gate crashed lah. anyway, it was too late to buy tickets and it will probably be a waste of money since i reached only at the 3nd last course methinks. but me, being the greedy one.. and buay pai seh one, cobed one mango pudding for dessert. hahaha.. not bad le. considered tan dio liao.
anyway, i didn't know our fatherly SM Goh was there, though i vaguely remembered Sim Wong Hoo going while reading saturday's newspapers. twas stopped by police at my schol gates and silly me, i thought they were npcc police juniors trying to be funny with me.
more to come.. very tired now..
Part II. felt quite nostalgic while in BP. Those places seemed so familar yet unfamiliar at the same time.. and well, everyone has moved on. even the tress in BP had grown taller. i can still remember standing under the hot sun during PE, cos there was no shade from the trees..
was looking around for the guy with the nice back view. but i didn't see him. hm. well.
anyway, hahaha, someone commented that that was only one of the few times the school song was sung with so much gusto. and yay! i haven't forgot the tune and lyrics. hahhaa.. before that, the wayang was quite deafening.
honestly speaking, even though im proud of my secondary school, but i think our school is still quite stagnant, like haven't had a breakthrough for years. they should try for SAP. being autonomous isn't quite enough if you asked me. jewel commented that our school is quite diversified in the sense that we have a braod spectrum of standards of students and their race, which makes us really like a mini singapore. quite cool right?
did some networking.. then went off.
by the way, saw Sim Wong Hoo up close. i think he looked very stressed.. maybe its because of the Creative stocks. ma chiam he'll faint any moment. hai.. so poor thing right? anyway really quite thankful that he gave face and graced the event. i think the school has been wanting to re-connect with him for like the longest time. hahah.. gee..
