baptism back in church.. hokkien!! ::

really very happy to be at church yesterday (saturday). it was really interesting - whole service is conducted in hokkien and in bits of chinese since the people getting baptised are based in the english congregation and had chosen to be baptised in the hokkien ministry because of their parents. it was almost like my rebirth in Christ! okay lah, not to that extent, but i'm trying to rediscover my interest in the Word. felt very inspired. also because the "famous school singer" sent me a note after the bp dinner to encourage me.

anyway, the whole ai pia jya e iya song was converted into another worship song, which was honestly, quite close to the heart. hahaha.. my parents era's song. really what, anyway, the whole congregation was full of old people and people of my parent's generation, so i supposed its an effective way to reach them too! i believe that God had used this creative method to reach out to them, perhaps a generation which is so possibly entrenched in another religion. but anyway, i pray that that congregation will continue to grow in numbers. quite critical as hm, to be practical, those people would probably meet the Lord faster than us, youngsters if you go by statistics.

i should really go back more frequently. God, help me okay!!! ^^
